So awhile back i had the Q in a 3.7cuft box at 32 or 33 hz... but i missed my back seat!

so i took it out and put in a little 12" eD13kv.2. it sounds great, but output is nothing like my Q (duh)...

and this is my old box as it sits now, with my jigsaw case and sound deadener //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

so since i missed my Q so much i just decided to build a smaller box for it. 3 cubes at 35 hz. i started taking pics kind of in the middle of things, so here they are...

the back:

the side:

the inside, all sealed up:

so i ****ed up and cut the hole the size of the outside of the aeroport flange...first hole cut with a jasper jig...

looks like its gonna be a "flush" mount, more like recessed, but oh well, i think it will turn out ok.

and this is where i left off the other day, the double baffle attatched...

more pics to come

I dont think a double baffle was really necessary when you're trying to conserve room like that, how wide is the box?

Couple braces probly woulda done just fine

Interested on the concrete though, last thing I would want in any part of my vehicle

double baffle is for the flush mounting the sub. and the concrete isn't going in my truck, its really for fence posts. its just sitting on my box lol.

flush mounted goodness...

and thats where i left it yesterday. the plan is lots of sanding after i get off work today, then rounding off the edges on the front and top. the idea is a gloss black finish on the front and top, with carpet on the back, sides, and bottom.
