95 Chevrolet with a double din?

First off let me say I did search, and google but didnt find exactly what I was looking for. I want to run a double din in my 95 Tahoe witch is a 1.5 din. I have seen an install with a double din in a tahoe where the AC is NOT moved and its kept mostly stock. Thats what I want to do. I dont want to cut my dash but would rather heat it up and roll the plastic over. I want to know from someone who has done this, what goes into it, where the cuts are made and how to secure it in the dash. Thanks guys.
