anyone go? any good stories? my 2 cents is that the local scum bag wanna be thugs need to go away. its ruining the experience. even the under aged highschool kids starting fights is getting old. also who the hell needs to carry a gun while they rob coolers from a camp site? i guess indianapolis is going down the shitter with the left overs from chicago. dont get me wrong i had a great time and met alot of good people, but most are the people who come every year from out of town. we had 6 different states of people at our camp site. this was my 7th year and we plan on growing every year or atleast meeting the same people at the race each year.

i went and it was my 3rd year in a row..

pretty cool I'd say..

I was one of the first people to enter the gate so my buddies and I get to park at the front row which is at between turn 3 and 4..

But one thing that is pretty annoying is that everyone gets too fking drunk wayy before the race is over and starts to hassle us at our sites.. One of the guys came in our tent and say "this site is mine! that cooler is mine! this cooler is mine!"

I would have to like push him out and I told him "no, all of them are ours, none of them are yours.." he is like "where is Jake?" I said I have no fking idea who is Jake so he finally left as he wanted to find Jake.. funny thing he said "you guys will be sorry" when he left to find Jake..

lol ya alot of that goes on. dont get me wrong we do a good bit of drinking, we get there first thing thursday morning and dont feel like drinking much by sunday. but we dont screw with anyone else and everyone at our camp area likes us and we stay in touch during the year leading to the race again. we camp on georgetown road right across from the starting line. only house on the road. we have ticket int he south vista usually but we do alot of walkin around the infield find some new places to watch.

awesome.. georgetown road is pretty crazy lol

Dont get me wrong, my buddies and I definitely do a good bit of drinking also, but just like you said, we dont f-uck around with others, we know our own judgements. we just want to have fun you know, rather than starting problems with others..

I guess some people think that messing around with others is fun

nonetheless I enjoyed my weekend last weekend though

For some reason I thought this was the 100th. At least that's what they were saying on the news. I used to go with my grandfather several years ago. He had tickets right in the middle of turn 4, half way up. Good times I tell ya. I wanna take my son on day on carb day. I'm sure he would have a blast.

the track was built 1909 so its 100 years. its the centennial cause of that and the race will be 100years i think in 2013 since they skipped some races for the wars. so they get few years to sound cooler

carb day is alot of crazy drunk ppl and alot of *******. we were both, we got the strippers from the wild cherri's to come party all weekend with us after we went thursday night. and yes there is video and pictures but youtube wont allow it so if anyone wants, tell me another way. some are easy 100mb files
