'93 legacy dash kit????!!!!!????

Well i ordered a dash kit for 1981-1999 subaru wehicles and get the instructions and it says it will git a '95-99 legacy. I have a '93 legacy. Did they make that much of a change to the dash in those two years or should it work out? I looked at some installs of cardomain and none of them had dash kits, they were all custom and very poorly done. I dont have the car today i let my bro use it and i will get it tomarrow to see if it really fits. If not what could i do? I can psot up some deminsions of the space i have to fill tomarrow if it does fit, but i am not sure what i could do to fill this space. Anyone have any idea?
