HELLO EVERYONE , FIRST OFF I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT ALL OF YOU ARE VERY HELPFULL AND I PERSONALLY APPRECIATE ALL THE INPUT EVERYONE GIVES IN THIS SITE. I SAY THAT DUE TO ME READING COUNTLESS THREADS TILL LATE HOURS OF THE NIGHT AND FINALLY DECIDING TO JOIN, THANKS ALOT.

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF FULLY CUSTOMIZING MY 91 MAZDA EXTENDED CAB TRUCK.

I HAVE 2 12" INFINITY KAPPA PERFECT SINGLE VOICE COIL 4-OHM SUBS(12-VQ SERIES) ALL I CAN AFFORD AT THE MOMENT (HAVE ALOT OF KIDS //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif )

I KNOW MINIMAL INFO ABOUT THE TECHINICAL SIDE OF THE AUDIO WORLD BUT EVERY SYSTEM I HAVE HAD IN THE PAST SOUNDED GOOD WITH LITTLE DISTORTION WITH PREFABBED BOXES.

SO LIKE OTHERS I AM ASKING FOR HELP AND INFO IN WHICH TYPE OF BOX TO GO WITH FOR MY SUBS.I HAVE WOOD ALREADY CUT OUT FOR A SEALED ENCLOSURE AND HERE ARE THE DIMENSIONS

30 X 14 1/2 X 17 1/2 -3/4 MDF . I HEAR GOOD THINGS ABOUT SLOT PORTED AND THAT IS THE ROUTE I KINDA WANT TO GO BUT NOT SURE WHERE TO START, I WILL POST A LINK TO THE STATS OF MY SPEAKERS FOR FURTHER EVALUATION

ANY AND ALL INFO IS WELCOME AND GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS

Yes , I Need To Know The Best Box For My Extended Cab ,slot Ported / Sealed , And The Size To Build It .Like i mentioned i would kinda rather go with a ported box for both 12's and i can spare as much room as possible if need be. Hopefully if someone comes up with some plans for me , i can use the existing wood cut for a sealed box to keep my cost down.

Thanks For Input 60ndown. I Think I Am Giong To Go For Sound Quality But On The Closer Side Spl If That Makes Sense, From What I Have Read And Learned On This Site It Is Possible By Tuning The Box .

you dont mention an amp? id go with your subs connected in paralell for a 2 ohm load, use an amp that does 800rms (at least) @ 2 ohms and put em in that sealed box.should get loud and be clean. most people here on this forum love ported boxes, but sealed boxes play lower (yes they do) and have less sound quality issues, and here comes everyone to tell me im wrong...................

My Budget Is Low , I Already Have 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 12's And A 1k Amp With 500 Rms @ 2-ohm, The 12's Are 4 Ohm (svc)

And I Currently Have Them In A Sealed Box Bridged At 2 Ohm

And I Have Already Cut My Boards Out To Make My Own Sealed Box But Wanted Some Opinions About Which Kind Of Box To Go With In My Extended Cab Truck

hey now, stop hateing on him for typing in caps. at my job we use a program where you have to be in caps for the program to do right.

but do your post, any 800rm(true watts is favored) would be best.

since you are beginer, go with sealed. easier to tune and eaiser to build.

did i mention it has a (flatter responce)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
