i have a power acoustiks 3000db coming and my mtx TA7402 is going to be leaving me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif soon. the acoustiks will be 1800@2ohms and was wondering if my 2 12" compvr's could handle it. it will be overrated for now since i haven't upgraded alt and have DMM on way so can i wire it to be gentle enough for them or should i just wait until i'm ready to install my H2(like 2months)

900 per comp vr 12" is a tad much but i've ran that much on em' before. they can handle the power if you know what you're doing and listen for distortion. just keep the gain on the amp down, and keep your sub level on your deck down.

ive got 1200 going to two 15s cvrs and it gets them moving enough and on some songs to much. i think the 12s would be happier with maybe 1000 to 1200 watts but as said before if you play it safe and keep the gains down that 1800 watts will be ok. since no amp will run 100% eff.

ok so i'll do it nicely until i upgrade electrical then i'll run it at 1ohm giving the 15" 2800watts and throw the 12"s out. thanks hopefully i can make a better vid of them since they'll be having triple the power lol.
