900-1000 watts too much for an SS RL-P?

Was gonna run a Nine.1 at 2 ohms to the RL-P in a 1.03 inch sealed box. Is that a reasonable amp for that subwoofer? What about if i stumble onto a RL-P Dual 2, then the amp is gonna be running at 1200 > watts. Would that be too much?

Now that would be a little much.

1kW should make that driver sing.

The official SS forum is there, you can talk directly to Mike (he's on here too, but he comes around infrequently since SSA really started to pick up).
