All Thanks go straight to Mark @ Mach5audio for all the help in getting me all this nice stuff :) and helping me along the way answering all my questions about passive radiators. I haven't seen many builds with passive radiators so hopefully this will help out anybody on the edge of getting involved with them..

Soooooo, New to posting on here, but i've been a long time lurker lol.

So 1 Whole month later, Juggling school and this build every chance I had, It's finally in the finishing stages, lots of little things here and there but thats the fun part haha.

i just realized that those ixl-10's look pretty identical to the SA-12's..... beefy lookin subs, i've read that that make poor spl subs though....for the price you cant beat em

We'll my friend that's why they make the SPL-12/15 versions lol...because some people actually like to listen to music . the way it was intended to be heard haha

This is not SPL oriented,The plan was that I wanted a small footprint in my trunk , just wanted something very lightweight, no heavy mdf box, but wanted to have an amazing low end so I went with the passive radiators. and with a box volume of .4, bass reflex ixl version, it was possible to have that with a sonotube, and the sub and PR opposing each other...

The whole assembly weights barely nothing all assembled. pics of the whole rack to hold amps and subs finished coming up tomorrow

^^^ true, and i should've realized you won't in it for the SPL, sinse you were using the pr's....lol....looks like it'll sound pretty awesome though...i'm still yet to hear a passive radiator setup....good luck with the rest of the build

Here the final assembly minus the subs in and the sundown saz-1500 on top of those two smaller ultimate t2-2250 for my RSD6 components, one amp per side, setting the amps @ 100x1 @ 4ohms for each side. Don't know if they can handle more lol.. they are rated for 60 rms, and my amps will do 160rms @ 4ohms bridged.

Here it is, sitting in the trunk where it should be permanently, still lots to do, but this gives you a rough look of how its going to look..
