i would like to know some other 8s out there that are beast. other then the sa 8s which arent that great cuz they dont last long but they do hit but other brands that are equally good or better.

I'm switching from sa8's to soundsplinter rli-s....but not because the sa8's didn't last

i know someone who makes custom subs and boxes and he has dealt with many of sundowns products and he said they dont like to last very long.

Seen some Audioque SDC8''s that would take 1krms each the other day. Motor appeared to be bigger than the sub itself......

op, im not sure what moron told you sundown products dont last, but there is a sa-8 in a crx thats used for burps ( cant remember the owners name) that has been in the car for i want to say close to 2 years, they are putting slightly over 1600 watts to it and doing 152.x and they have been running the same sub the whole time, no recones no upgrades. now if that is not durable enough for you then i think there is something wrong.

This...I was doing over a 150 on a pair in the CRX ...in a box tuned at 140hz....plus they get low....lower than any other 8 I've ever heard
