8gage power wire for subs????

I'm upgrading my system with thicker power wire, so i have lots of 8gage power wire left, would it be better to use that for my subs amp(as speaker wire)

its a pain in the butt and not worth the hassle. Even most competitors don't do that stuff. There's just no payoff

it really wont make a difference unless ur running tons of power. 10-12 gauge is good enough but if u have 8 laying around, might as well us it.

OK MR. COMMON heres a question you might be able to help me with, i have 2amps and 2 subs both amps are 2ohm stable one sub is 2ohm but the other is 4ohm what do i do to get the same power comming out of both(without having to buy another sub) gracias

Actually it can be done but not at maximum wattage.

so whats the best safest way to hook that up, i had a t2 repaired and they gave me back a 4ohm t2 i tried to get it exchanged again but these guys are acting funny saying i gave them a 4 ohm sub, now what
