wanted to build a bit bigger box. this one is sealed, around 3.8 cubes. wanted to go ported but didnt want to take up any more room than this. i liked this design as it protects the subs and gives me a surface to set stuff on behind the seats. plus the seats lean back now. no pics of it in the truck as its not in yet. ill post some later.

also, forgot to mention, its gonna be carpeted.

prefab box i had before

got some pictures of it in the truck. it was a ***** gettin it in there. heavy and awkwardly shaped. no more being able to move my box by myself.

Good job using a terminal cup. I hate looking at people's build threads where they build a really nice box (whether it's their first or 100th) and you scroll down to look at the next picture and they have their wires running out of the port. It irks my chains and I know I can't be the only one.

ps-good build //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

looks really good, for a first build you really knew what you were doing, must have really learned a lot by looking at others stuff or you just know how to work with wood well because thats really clean build..

thanks for all the compliments.

yeah, i give alot of credit to you guys and this forum. i wouldnt have been able to do so well without all the information ive gotten here.

but i also give a lot of credit to myself, planning, and having a shop that contains all the tools required to build a good box.

so, to answer your questions. it sounds great! not only considerably louder than that prefab...it just sounds a lot better. the lows hit lower, and it just sounds.......better. i dont really know how else to put it.

now i need a good set of comps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. probably be lookin for those on the forums here pretty soon.

checked out that site......looks like it needs another 4x4 member. haha. lmk if there is gonna be a tennessee meet or somethin, id like to go to one of those sometime.
At the end of september we are a having a huge show at the high school in Smryna. Should be about 300-400 trucks there. Definately dont want to miss that.
