81000?????

There are plenty of subs that can take that, it just depends on your price range and what you are looking for...
That may be true but I have seen a W7 being juiced by two Crossfire 2000Ds. Most W7 set-ups that I have seen were powered by more than 1000wtts. JL voids warrenty over 1000wtts, I guess to play it safe and cut down on the cost of repairs and replacements? They are quite capable though.

I want a single daily setup...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Depends on the model, actually. The 10W7 is rated for 1000 max, the 12W7 is 1500 max, the 13W7 is 2000 max. Not sure about the 8W7, but it just wouldn't be right to abuse such a cute little sub like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. The 13W7 has two 1.5ohm VCs, the others all have a single 3ohm VC, so there's no way to wire up a single one for 2ohm operation.

But, yeah, there are lots of subs that can take more abuse than they're rated for, the W7's included.

It all depends on what you're looking for in terms of output. SPL or SQ?
