Which amp will power my two 400rms sub woofers which have dual voice coils and 4ohm impedance?

Want to spend about $100 dollars if possible $150max.

You can wire them up at 1 ohm or 4 ohm mono or even 2 ohm stereo. You have alot of options.

That all depends on your amp. My AB would give them 450 watts each 2 ohm stereo. Your enclosure will also make a difference.

I'm almost sure I want to wire them @ 1ohm, so I need an efficient 800 watt 1 ch amp, but which one?

The reason I'm going with 800 watts is because I might find a less expensive one brand new, than a 1000.

It's going to be hard to find a 1 ohm stable amp, that has good quality for that kind of money and puts out that kind of power. I wish you luck.

Doesn't need to be good quality, I just need something avarge that will get them pumping out some bass at their suggested rms, there has to be a decent amp that put out 800 watts for $150, isn't there?

My Thunder 500D would give them 775 watts total @ 2 ohm stereo. Same output as 1 ohm mono. Just bridge each sub and wire separate to each channel of the amp. I could do $100 shipped on it.
