800 WRMS to work with. Need Some opinions

I currently have a set of MTX comps but I will be upgrading to CDT HD 6.2.

Good choice on the CDT's. I've owned 2 12'' CVX's and 1 15 L7 and personally I liked the L7 better. If your set on going with a kicker sub than my recommendation is one 15'' L7 in a nice ported box.

What would be the better combination, 2 MTX 7500 putting out 800 WRMS( Doesn't have to be MTX, Just put them there because 2 of them equals 800 watts) or 1 Kicker CVX, putting out 800 watts?

The two 7500 will more than likely get louder just because of cone area. Doesn't mean they will sound better though.

Two mach 5 MAW 12" is cheaper and will probbaly get louder than a singel CVX, due to them needing less power to get to similar xmax.

Though the CVX is a nice woofer and will get plenty loud on that power.

If I bought 2 CVX's, and sent them 800 watts between them, how would that compare to just sending 800 watts to 1 CVX?
