8" subwoofer in small enclosure: Kicker or Pioneer?

I'm finalizing which sub I get for my car. The enclosure has to fit under my passenger seat. I have about 5"x16"x10" to work with. The 2 that I'm considering now are:

1. Pioneer Premier TS-SW841D subwoofer in the UD-SW8U enclosure. The enclosure is 12-1/16"W x 9-7/16"H x 4-3/4"D. The sub is rated 500 watts peak and 150 watts nominal. Here is link to sub:

2. Kicker TCVT84 (09TCVT84) sub/enclosure. This enclosure includes a 4 ohm 8" CompVT subwoofer and is rated 400 watts peak and 200 watts RMS. The enclosure is 5"D x 16-1/8"W x 9-1/16"H. Here is link to sub/enclosure:

I have a MB Quart DSC 480 amp and I was planning on running front components on 2 channels and sub on 2 bridged channels. Any opinions? Is there any other combo I should be looking at for around $200?

Thanks!

I say E8. I have one. Love it. 4.25" mounting depth, .3 cuft sealed.
I would love to do the E8 (If I could find one) though mounting depth is too much. I have 5" to work with including the enclosure. The Pioneer has mounting depth of 2 1/2" and the Kicker 3 3/8". I need a shallow mount sub.

See if SM can get you a good deal from Kicker;)

LOL

Thanks for all the answers. It looks like consensus is Kicker. I know I'm not going to get window shaking bass I just have to have some bass and keep the wife happy. I'm very tempted to pick up a small enclosure that I can put in the rear (Subaru Forester) and remove when I have too.

The DDLE enclosure/subs by Digital Designs look very tempting. The 8" one is only 24"x10"x9.5". I could probably live with something that big (though the wife will probably kill me). That would take up very little space. The pictures in this article sure make the size look manageable:

Thanks!
