8" round solobaric

hey guys just wondering if any1 knows of a website that sells prefab solobaric boxes for the round series? i was told by a vendor that the mounting hole will have to be a bit bigger than normal for the sub to fit. i know i could maybe enlarge the hole if it comes down to it but if i could find boxes that were made for this sub that would be great.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Pay someone here to buillds you a box...

Prefab 8" boxes are RARE as it is. Migh as well have a box that fits your needs. I'm sure many people would love to build you a box.

Mind you the round solos need to be in a sealed box...

ya i know prefab is usually not that great but i found couple of boxes that are about on target as far as airspace .35 each & kicker recommends .33 each. the box is made of 3/4 in. mdf so i dont see too much of a problem there except maybe adding some screws in key areas to reinforce the whole thing bcause im sure its only glued & stapled. oh well i might just have a buddy of mine build me one since he has the tools & i dont. i just figured i could find some on ebay or something. i might just contact kicker & see if they have an idea.

it definately would be sealed(i dont think they recommend ported). im sure ported has been done with the help of a subsonic filter, but i think ill be going with sealed. so how much would two small .33 boxes or one .66 box cost me from someone on this forum? i would definately want at least 3/4 inch mdf.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

by the way, (solobaric experts) how critical is the .33 per 8" that kicker recommends? what would happen if it was in something a little bigger like .5? would it sound like *** or would i just gain a little efficiency & lose some power handling? i dont want to sacrifice the sound quality so ill do whats best if possible. they will have some decent power going to them along with my other sub theyll be hooked up to my beta300 bridged mode so i definately want them to have decent power handling in the enclosure i choose.

It has power handing issues in the small box, they'll get worse in the larger one.
