Mechanical noise do you think?

Do the '06s have some red in the logo and the newer ones are just black?

Let me think about that offer. I was considering just getting one to play with and I found one locally for pretty cheap but if I like it we might talk business.

yeah...it was a mechanical noise, but it was a sub fault not blown/regular sound. yeah the newer style are the black ones.

A friend of mine had one in a 1 cf ported box off of a JL250/1 in his Dodge Dakota and I was blown away. I despise JL but that made me change my mind about their subs. Sounded like a 12" and had to be hitting in the mid 130's for a single 8"

Put it this way. If I was going to buy an 8" to use, it'd be the JL or possibly the DD1508

It's not really that I'm in search of an 8", I have plenty of them. I'm merely curious about the performance of the L7 on a musical level since I've never had the pleasure of hearing one.

Op is asking about L7 which is a Kicker product, Not the w7 which is a JL product
