8" Arc vs. ID

The current install that I am working on necessitates an 8" sub with ~0.35in^2 sealed enclosure. The enclosure is a little flexible on volume, but not enough to go to ported. I am trying to get some opinions on whether to go with the Arc A8 or the Image Dynamics ID8 v.3. Both subs are around the same price and have similar box requirements. I have listened to a 12" ID and liked it, but have never heard anything from Arc, so I am looking for opinions. I am going for SQ, I want to make this blend with my system which is the craptastic Bose that will eventually get changed out. I listen mostly to rock and some rap. Thanks

Thanks for the vote. Seems like the ID8 has a flatter in car response that the Arc.

The ID 8 v3 is identical to the ARC 8. You could put them in a box together with no issues. ID is the buildhouse for that sub.
