8" Aeros

someone makes them, but SPL competitors won't tell who it is and how to contact the individual. I hear the ports cost hundreds though
Nobody makes them for SPL competitors specifically.

Companies make them for a whole different purpose, competitors adapt them to work for speaker enclosures. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeap. I have some 8" and 10" flares sitting in my basement:D

There are two companies right here in SC that make flares of almost any size. One is called SpiralWeld and they're located in Columbia, SC. I used to work across the street from them. The other is located in Andrews, SC but I can't remember their name. A lot of guys use pvc and flare it themselves. Make a mold out of mdf & bondo, heat, and flare.

Just make em yourself, will save you a good amount of money in the long run. My uncle runs a plumbing company in Delaware and whenever he comes up he'll bring me sum 6,8,10" PVC that he has left over from jobs. They're already payed for by the customer but its usually a solid few feet of each one.

Either that or make one using the 8,10,12" quikcrete tubes that they sell at Home Depot. Just need to resin and glass em, then they'll be super slick for alot cheaper than big aeros.
