Build we did this weekend. 2 days straight no sleep. Cheap DB drive "2k rms subs" on a Taramps 20k with ZERO gain. popped one sub in 5 mins. Didnt finish port,trim panels, sealing off or anything. Going to be doing a sub swap. Hopefully Sundown X 15s

8 15"s

60 cubes. 4th order.

14 sealed chamber. 45hz tuning with test port.

Taramps 20.2kw

Lots of mids, tweeters, and horns all around. PRV, McClaren, and American Bass.

Crescendo 1100.4 and 800.4

They are wdx 2k RMS. 3" coil 140oz motor stamped steal baskets. They are highly overrated.

Traded all 8 for the AAs plus cash.

These were in a normal ported box on a lanzar opti 6k. He heard my buddies setup at our last show and wanted us to rebuild his setup and bought his taramps 20.2kw.

I know u have some bracing but 8 15s on 20k and u single layered the wood for the enclosure? Seems like you would at least double or triple wall it. But still looks good and I'd love to hear it.

The sub baffle, front baffle and rear is doubled. 8 1/2" rods and 6 3/4" rods.

All that rest is sealing it up with trim panels, finish up the front and kerf port, re paint some spots, hook up the batteries, mount the Taramps 20k, 1100.4 and 800.4 amps.

Got loud when we tested. Taramps 20k at .5ohm. This is still with no port at all yet.

Gain goes from 0 to 1/8 at :38 in the video
