.7ohm Subwoofers..

Why do you want something that low?

And you will either have to get dual 1's (which are usually .7 nominal for the most part) or spend some cash to get a used/new spl sub because they are the only ones with the coils that low.

What do you want with a sub that has such a low nominal ohm rating anyway? It sounds to me like your just trying to throw as much power at it as possible and I don't think thats a good idea.

Why don't you tell us what your ultimate goal is and we can work with you from there. Why do you want to change subs, do you want more volume, better sound quality, looking to compete, what?

I plan on selling my type rs soon..just want a single 15 thats gonna be loud. the reason i put the .7ohm to see how my amp will perform on a sub at that independence

I see. The difference .7ohm and 1 ohm will mean nothing unless your competiting, you will not hear the difference. Just get a sub with dual 2 ohm coils, as THeFiverMan said and wire it in parallel. Although, this method your using to find your sub isn't quite the right way to go about it. Power doesn't always equal volume. You should shop around for subs in your price range and model them in the largest box you can afford and see what happens. You might find that the loudest 15 you can buy doesn't need the most power to get there.
