A pair of Paradigm Monitor 7 towers and a CC-350 center channel. Still have to build a shelf above the TV for the CC. I believe this is my best deal on audio equipment to date, even better than my Kicker Solo-X for $170.

Here are some crappy webcam pics.

how do they sound?
Great. I previously had some PG RSD's in some cabinets, so they are the only thing I have to compare them too. The RSD's were boomy and bright compared to the Monitor 7s. I haven't heard much to compare the Monitors to, but they sound very natural. Basically "perfect" in regards to how I imagine they should sound.

I am very happy with them. But, like I said, I've never heard any other good towers so I'd probably be impressed with any high quality brands.

Nice, where'd ya get them at?
Craigslist.

i had the same setup years back, but also had some monitor 5's for surround with some acurus components, loved the sound

decided to go a little smaller and now have atoms, cc-200, adp-70 with a denon receiver and dont think i will ever part with it

Good deal. I have that same center channel. Very nice unit. Take it apart - the mids are beefy as hell!

I picked it up along with a pair of Athena AS-F2's, a pair of Athena AS-F1's, a Yamaha Receiver, and two huge boxes full of monster cable for only $150 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Best $150 I've ever spent!

Ah, had it cranked for the first time to really do some listening and my Dad's 30 year old receiver is on it's way out. After 10 minutes of listening both channels start to cut out. Now I just need to find a good deal on a receiver. I am debating whether to buy something cheap off craigslist or go with one of the Onkyo units with HDMI and video upscaling and all that.

sell me the CC for 70 and you monitors were free!
Man, I wish I already had a nice home theater setup, I would flip this stuff and make a few hundred bucks. Unfortunately (haha) for me I am going to keep this stuff a while and enjoy it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Stereo or multichannel receiver? What model is it? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
