To matt.. I love that gun rack!Taxidermy is too tedious of work for me..Your dad looks to do good with it though!

He doesn't really do it much anymore. Now he just does fish once in a while, but only for relatives and friends and stuff. One day I'd like to learn how to do it though.

This thread got me thinking about hunting again... man I can't wait for November.

I think they should be able to use a rock or something to smash it. Animals also build traps for other animals.

I agree with your premise. I don't see the sport in shooting an animal from 5 miles away or whatever.

Saw on article in a magazine on spear hunting for deer..A guy would climb up in trees and a when a deer came near him he would jump out and spear it..

Bowhunting one year I had some fawns directly underneath me. I would be lying if I said the thought of jumping on them with my knife out didn't cross my mind.
