I'm looking for an amp that will power 700-800 watts into a 4 or 1 ohm load. I don't really have much of a budget yet, but I would like to spend the least amount I can, so probably nothing over $200. I don't want anything Kicker, even though they have great products.

I would love to have that amp, but I have a few questions. How effecient is it? How is it cooled, fan or heatsink? Would you be willing to take off the cover so I can see the guts?

Look at the Blau VA2200 it is a little under power for what you stated, but it will get you around 600-650rms @ 4 ohms mono and it is a very soild built and great sounding amp. Don't let the name fool you these amps where built to compete with some the higher end amps and names out there, but be cause of the name plate they never caught on.
