It should be alright for a start. Just don't expect the performance to blow you away.

 
the xxx will perform very well with 700-800 wrms, but it won't reach it's full potential, as others have stated. but it will do well enough that u may not want/need more power depending upon the box u build.

Right now I have my 2 7500 MTX's with about 350-400 going to each tuned to 38 Hz. but I want to go louder, so I was thinking about getting a XXX. The XXX 15" would be louder than my 2 10"s?

Of course, you do know that would depend on a number of things. box, power, etc.

 
I just want to make sure Im making a move for the better. Get the woofer now, use my 2300 till I can put a Hifonics on it maybe?
