7-8inch midbass speakers

what are the pros and cons of large midbass speakers...

and could i use a 7inch driver with a silk tweeter . with good results...

it really depends all on your taste...but yes..generally that would yield good results. Keep in mind a silk tweeter wont give you as bright of a sound as a harder material dome.

Vifa PLs...check out partsexpress.com . killer drivers, from what i've heard...

you shouldn't have problems with them.

look at peerless csx as well, depending on your personal taste you might find it better than the pl.
