6x9 trouble

Alright guys i need some help i got bouston acoustics 6x9s and my left rear one it makes like this buzzing sound almost but still plays just with the buzzing anyone know how i can fix this is the speaker half way blown or what help me please?

i was going to take it to the shop but i just want to make sure its nothing i can fix myself first.

see that's what i thought but im not sure. it doesn't sound like its blown now its just like static getting worse and i checked the connections nothing loose:-/. idk what else could i check?

Can you get to the front cone to touch it while in operation?

If so try gently pushing all around the cone while at low volumes. If when you do this it goes back to normal (no scratching) the voice coil is melted (blown) and rubbing up against either the inner or outer side of the magnet, probably from too high of rms wattage. And you're screwed, sorry. That's what it sounds like to me.

oh alright thanks man , i checked that actually and it doesn't make the scartching sound then or anything then sounds fine. im out of ideas i checked the ground , what you said to check jjones , checked fuses , all connections idk any other ideas anyone?
