6x9 Face off, help me choose...

My car is an IS300 and I already have the following installed...

-Eclipse 8445

-Focal 165V1 (front doors)

-PPI 600.4 (75RMSx4)

I have 6x9 housings in the rear deck and would like to fill them with something that has some bump but also has clean but not overpowering highs. They will be getting the rear two channels of the PPI so that means 75RMS. I have some 6x9's that I need help deciding on and I hope you all can help me choose or suggest something better.

Focal 690CV1 $234

Those are the best prices I've seen on them...what should I get?

It's near impossible to listen to them all but try to listen to as many as possible and if you can do it at a place that they can set them up near the power you plan on using it would make it easier.

I would go with the one having the lowest starting range (bump) and silk or soft playing tweets. I have the highest end Focal 6x9's and they sound good in my car but they also have X-overs and you can unplug the tweet or angle it if you want. Of the others the SL-95's are hard to beat. CDT makes good stuff so I thought about trying them. 40-4000 range which is pretty decent but no tweet.

The R 6x9's are pretty good bang for the buck. A buddy of mine has the 6x9's with a 4x75watts rms new alpine amp and they sound super clean. I have the 5x7 r's all around in my truck and they are very clean sounding, alot better than the type S I replaced so I would rule those out. I have never heard any of the focal stuff either but alot of times u do get what u pay for.

I have a set of DLS ref 6x9 that are very nice, but if you're looking for a bigger bump, they make a 7x10 that fits stock 6x9 openigs, the SOB's are huge!40oz magnet on each one.

(shame-less plug I have both FS hehe)

Judging crisp bass alone and the amount of bassfrom them... Type R's, the SL95's and the Focal 690CA1...which is my best bet?
