Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows what the blue book value of a 1969 Camaro (327 V8, auto ******, original condition) is?

the KBB site only goes down to the mid 90's and I did some searching but couldn't find much. It is in all original condition with I think 70k miles. The rear bumper had a tiny bit of bondo work on it, otherwise it's in great condition. Pretty much been sitting either covered or in a garage most of it's life.

My dad's friend is wanting to sell it and told me to find the blue book value because I'm one of his only acquaintances that is really interested in buying it. He got it when he was a teen (mid 40's now) and didn't drive it a whole lot. I wished it was a manual and an SS but, I really just want a 69 Camaro in any flavor. I love that body style.

So if someone can help me out that would be awesome. Also if you have any opinions or knowledge of these cars I would like to hear it too. Thanks.

Well he said find a bb value. I see them ranging from all kinds of prices. Most of the ones I see are refinished/rebuilt going for 10-20k. So pretty much whatever the value is of a stock, plain (not z28 or ss) v8 camaro would work.

The NADA site wasn't working for me. I'll try later. In the meantime, anything I should know about older Camaro's? Like certain parts being finicky etc... or any audio tips? If I do get this, I think 2 SA-8's would be good.

Audio tips arent necessary.

It is probably only worth about $5,000. Since it isn't an SS and manual and all. Tell him I will do him a favor and take it off of his hands for 6k. But at that price he has to include a reach around.

Back when I had an old car, I looked up the value on it and it was next to nothing. It wasn't the most desirable car but $800 for a car with 60K in fair shape is low. They have don't go off of street value for classics they just look at the origanal price and figure milage and condition. The best way to look at what the car is worht is for real street value is what similar cars are selling for on ebay and autotrader. I don't know what the classic car values are now but 7-8 years ago people paid $5K for a rusted out hull in a pasture with no motor at *****. A non SS with a 350 in good shape was 8-12 depending on how fast they needed the money. That was before the economy fell apart.
