Agree it is pretty vague.
Not trying to sound smart. He got taken advantage of at a local shop and friend. I helped him get his daily driver sorted out (one of my amps on loan until his new amp gets here). They told him one of his 15's was blown. I checked things out and the sub was not connected to the amp??? Tested the sub on my system and worked just fine. His amp was the problem (powers up but no output to his subs / same thing on my system) and it cost him a new sub he did not need to buy. Btw.. the new sub was the one that was not connected to the amp and the "blown" sub works on both of my amps. I helped him out with this and that's why he asked me.
As far as unique - those VERY different ideas are what I want to hear about. What do you consider to be unique sq set-up?
Again, he just showed me the car today and asked what I thought. I suggested to start with the elec system and go from there but as you said he needs to decide how much power he will be running first.
Just looking for some ideas, and I told him not go back to the shop or let his friend touch any of his gear again.

Looking to go with 3 12" Fi ssd's on a 2K PPI black ice amp. A 2ch black ice amp on the front PPI comps. 3 Yellow tops with a HO alternator.
