I like it. Although i'd suggest ditching the meguiars cleaners and try out zaino. I used it on my truck and boy howdy. Does it shine.

Ok, so, time for an update, amirite? While I wish I could be more on top of this thread, I have an inordinately demanding workload and have been doing a lot of carpentry work on the house as of late, so the Max has been placed on the second teir for now, BUT, that's not to say I have not been working on it!

So, the night started off with some wetsand action and polishing which took WAYYY effing longer than I could have evar anticipated, but that's always the case. With the garage cleaned...

...and the musik ready...

...and the paintcans nestled in their bed...

...we're ready to go.

Didn't take too much paper, but **** was my arm sore!!!

So next up was finishing up the deadening. Getting the panels to stay on after putting the SS LLP was a NIGHTMARE, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ATTACHING IT TO THE BACKSIDE OF THE INTERIOR PANEL INSTEAD. I did this for the passenger side and it was light years easier.

 

 

Now prepping the doors...

...oh, yeah, and a random-a'ss shot of what happened when I tried to volley a trashbag from my garage in to the trashcan. I had the distance...I had the angle...but I did NOT have the momentum!

The center console and a few other misc. items are all that's left! Sorry that this thread is a bit anti-climatic, but I've been busy as heck with home shtuff. Expect more pictures to come, I am hoping this Sunday will find my car with the center console all wrapped up!

I ran into issues with the seats and carpet not fitting correctly now that I had like a quarter of an inch of deadening on the floor. Did you run into that problem?

Ok, some other epic crap...that I had to take care of, since we're on the topic...

So in the course of completing the overhaul, I've had a winged buddy keep my passenger side company over the course of the past two days or so. It's hot as hellfire and I have been leaving my front doors open to make the best of what little cross breeze is available, and this guy has been hanging around all the while. I figure he's just another A33 fan, and hell, what intelligent sentient being wouldn't be?

 

So today I am completing the LED circuit lighting and intalling the glovebox and he is hanging dangerously close to my sweaty mug. I decide to take a peek and discover what could have possibly gotten in there to sustain such diligent interest. Lo and behold...

 

 

...no...you have got to be kidding me...

 

 

MOTHER FAWKER. I could not believe it. Like any conscience American, it became quite apparent that this wasp way secretly working for Al Qaeda, so without hesitation I went Homeland Security style on his azz and gave him a good 'ole waterboarding.

 

I don't think he will be back.
