600watts

Thinking about putting a small budget set up in my car. Probably something like an Soundqubed HDS208 or maybe 10". Any suggestions for an amp in the 600 watt range. Not looking to spend much. I'd like to keep it under $150 but closer to $100 if possible. Can be a 2 channel or mono. Mono preferred.

Pricey for 600 watts. If I was going to go that route I'd spend a little more and get a used 1200+ watts.

Saw a few American Bass amps that fit my budget and power. Not sure on the quality of their lower end stuff though

It Will do 900+ @ .5 you should check them out.

600W @ 4 ohm bridged for $60. Hey, I'm on a budget too. Not bad for the price of a decent dinner.

MB Quart RA1000.1 Reference Series 1000W Monoblock Amplifier

or

PowerBass ASA 600.1DX (ASA600.1DX) Class D Monoblock Amplifier

Have personal experience with both PB and MB Quart, can attest they're solid budget performers.
