6 subs keep shutting off

Ok so I have 6 subs in my house and i hooked them all up to my component system and at a certain volume it shuts off. Im not to sure Y. Can somebody help me out on this

Trying to draw too much power, shutting off due to an overload? Explain more how these are hooked up. What impedance are they running at?

Just at a guess given the minimal info you've provided us I would say that you've got entirely too low of a resistance being shown to your stereo's amp and when you tax it too much it shuts off by way of protecting itself.

your reciever cant power them at that level. so it shuts off.

Im getting sound from my tv to come through my aiwa component system. There are 2 subs that are jvc and the other 4 are also aiwa. everything was at 6 ohm so im guessin it would be wired down to 4 ohm. Umm i think the subs are to many watts for the component system. How do i get it to keep from shuttin down cuz it doesnt get loud before it does
