I need two 6" x 9" speakers for my old LTD, and I was wondering if you guys could help me. I am not looking to spend too much, all I am looking to spend is $60 (shipped). Can you guys please find me some good ones at the price w/ links? Any help will be appreciated. I could pay about $5 more if I have to.

Look at some JVC 6x9's they offer good sound at a great price.

Those Jensens wont hold a candle to a pair of JVC's and the JVC's will cost the same or less.

might as well keep stock, lol. for 6x9's i've been satisfied with pioneer and infinity.

I thought the Pioneers mids and tweets were harsh, the Infinity's were very accurate and detailed but a little "nasal" sounding like they needed some help in the vocal ranges.

lol, were talking about 6x9's for $60 being run off headunit power. were not talking about a couple hundred dollar pair of components. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif pretty much anything from a good company, ie pioneer, infinity, kicker, rockford, etc. will sound decent and better then stock.

Yes I know, I was referring to pioneers lower end coaxials and Infinitys reference series 6x9's.

I have used a few different models of Pioneer 6x9 coaxes and Infinity's reference series 6x9's off both deck power and amplified.

I should have worded that better, sorry for the mixup. I meant on the 3way coaxial, I find the 2ways a little harsh as well though.

I'm not trying to argue with you Teebone, im just trying to help Sayianeye get the best possible sound for the best possible price.
