6" componet sets

What are some good 6" componet sets? Not 6.5 because the grill would be too big. I would love to go 3 way, but I can barely find any 6" componet sets. I am available to do DIY but don't know too much about it. ( I can buy individual pieces). Budget is aroun $200 for the 6" but I am willing to do a little more for 3 ways.

The door pod is custom made and is a little larger than 6.5. Anything that has a grill larger than 6.5 won't work because it will overlap and look funny.

Yeah...it would only work if they were 6.5" total (including any grill type of deal)

Is anyone running the S600s? I know they are a bit more than my price range. Thing is...a couple places say they are 6.5s whereas others say they are 6. DAT says they are 6". If anyone has them I would appreciate a measurement. I need the total width, please.

the CDT EF-61 comps are 6.5in, maybe slightly more with the grill, 6.55in maybe. If that doesn't work Dayton sells some 6in woofers but the HT and the ohm load is 8ohms but thats workable.

Hex components are 6.3" without the grills They are closer to about 6.7" with grills. They are nice speakers, I like my set a lot.

why do you have to run the grills? i couldnt fit grills, but i used factory mounting behind the door pannel too. i mean, i wouldnt leave the grill off if they were exposed, but if they are in a spot that dosent matter....

Mounting them exposed. Reason I need grill is because a stupid passenger may kick the shit out them or something.
