6-l7's Is Rediculous?

the cuft isn't your biggest worry IMO of doing 6 L7 15"s. the problem is you're talking i think 1 more inch on every side for mounting vs. your eclipse 15"s. running 3 of them side ways is almost 48" side to side if they're mounted touching and i don't know if you have that kind of width. top to bottom you're talking 32" touching so unless you have about 53-55" wide and 35-36" tall it won't fit.

i dont have any my measures here.but i think i got enuff room. im gonna size my back seat up tommorrow and get back with u guys with the specs.but i talked to my other buddy that manages autosound.he said that my problem with me getting the sound i want from these eclipse subs was because my subs dont have enuff space to form bass.i can walk away from the car an it gets louder the further i get.if i do go to the L7's will this still be a problem?or will a bigger box make the subs hit lower freqs.in the interior of the vehicle.

so what happen to this 6 L7 idea? If you want to be loud dude and you got all that room go with a pair or 4 of atomic apx 18s, re mt 18s,audioque 318, dd 9917, ab vfl 15s and about 2k per sub if not more and you will prove a point that simple hands down an if you want more help feel free to ask me or post.

All I know is Kicker subs or whatever the hell he decides to go with, still makes me ashamed to live so close to an a-s-sclown like him. Then again he is in Cleveland. Go fawking figure. Bunch of hood rats down there, PERIOD!

I measured my l7s today and the exterior dimesnions on them are 15.6" both ways and depth is a little over 8".

Hey what happens if you cut the sheet metal (assuming it's still there...) that makes up the rear seta back and rear deck and extend the enclosure all the way into the trunk??? maybe it can be done, maybe it can't. Just a thought...lol

yea 92gm i was thinkin the same thing it would be one hell of a box to build.what did u say your 3L7's were hittin on db mic.cant remember if u said u had it tested or not,so to the guys that think recommd 3instead of 6 how about 4 instead of 3 i wanna go with an even numbr. i think this would look better.but not just for looks, how would 4 sound compared to 3. also r u guys thinking ported?
