6-l7's Is Rediculous?

thought you had a boss amp hooked up to em'? either way, if you're going with L7 15"s they have what 10 or 15% cone area more a piece than what you're dealing with so they won't fit, or i'd imagine they wouldn't. i hope you don't have your homie who does install at circuit city do this box as 6 L7 15"s makes it a bit more complex than those eclipse subs. You need about 4cuft per L7 so I hope you have 27cuft or more to work with after displacement of the subs. also what's your alternator like? sure hope you've got 200+ amps.
well im not sure what the L7's need in terms of air space.but whatever they need.they're gonna get.if i decide to go with them.i mean if i gotta go with 4 than thats what ill do.i've already made up my mind to build a new box for the L7's so they will be welcomed into a good home.i really really want sixx though..just because people dont think it's possible makes me want it more.sorry blazer never said anything about a boss amp.believe it or not ,im runnin on a stock alternater.the pdx amps are no current hogs but they put out everything i need an more.i will upgrade amps n alt. when the L7's take over.

whers your wall?this may no be that good lookin cus aint even bothered to trim it yet,or tack the covers on the side panel down.ha ha this lil 17 year old boy from chi town.if i would've check'd earlier an saw that u wher 17 i would've had my nephew smack u in the mouth...this forum just gets better an better:zzzzz: and yea they r 15's if u want ill set up a ruler.maybe one day ya mom might let u put a lil sumthin in the family van
as my pm said i hold state title as well as am 3rd in the world in my calss so, come talk shit when you actually have ACCOMPLISHED something...

Buddy is right on with all his questions. I have 3 l7 15s with 6 cubic feet per sub, I also had to get a nice amp, they need power. I bought an Orion 2500d and alternator wise I had to go Ohio Generator 300 amp alternator. It gets very expensive and make sure your box is up to it also. I had mine made out of 3/4" MDF and the darn thing still blew apart after a few months, so I went with 1" MDF and I can't remember what kind of glue it was and 3" screws. Just plan ahead with everything else, don't just factor in amps and subs.
im not sure but i dont think they call for 6cuft per of air.someone should look it up an let me know

i got the manual and tech brief in pdf format. they can go anywhere from 3 to 6 cubic feet per subwoofer in a vented enclosure and sealed they will work anywhere from 1.5 cubic feet to i don't remember if it's 3 or 6 cubic feet. In the tech brief it has response curves and everything for each enclosure type.

whats funny is i was probably louder out of my trunk then you are in your sealed wall w/ 6 15's and how is it i am on team kicker if my accomplishments are "phony"?

Your friend who installed your stuff is SOME DIRT! 2 be serious just go with 3 L7s in a wall. looks better, sounds alot better in the righ size box and tuning, plus more money for newer stuff! Just my advice.
he doesnt have enough depth to tune low if he goes ported..... which is why i dont wall my car 45hz+ peak sux
