i want to know what ur DB reading is, r u deaf yet. 6 L7's in my opinion is a bit overboard but your tolerance and my tolerance can be way diffrent i had to 15" L7's in the back of my honda and that was crazy loud, another question are u planning on at least throwing a good 800-1000 watts to each sub but i guess it wouldnt matter since the subs are right behind u. i beleive those aluminum 12's are like half the power of those L7's

yeah,my ears still hiss a lil from the tweets every now an then but i pretty much got used to the bass an its old news now.u know how us audioboi's r we always wanna better setup.the l7's r a bit much.we'll just have to work with what we can an go from ther.im just listening to what others have to say about them, then ill know for sure which way to go.its not gonna be cheap.im not real sure what my tolerance is but im willing to find out.havnt did a db test yet.also due to me having a wall it does'nt really produce as much bass.because thers no room for the bass to form thats why im lookin into a low end sub to make up for the lost air.but its still loud *** shit..at least from what people say.may have to push box back or rebuild in future.still got like 2 feet.a friend of mine did the setup he works install a cicuit city.he also has 6-15's in his rear seat once i saw and heard that my seat was missing 1week later.

well i lifted up just make sure ther were no leaks, what my buddy did was put calk in place wher the wood comes together.maybe the box didnt line up right or somethin, maybe hes not the best with the saw.no leaks though.just removed the tape.

those are 15's? and that is probably the shittiest wall i have ever seen...
whers your wall?this may no be that good lookin cus aint even bothered to trim it yet,or tack the covers on the side panel down.ha ha this lil 17 year old boy from chi town.if i would've check'd earlier an saw that u wher 17 i would've had my nephew smack u in the mouth...this forum just gets better an better:zzzzz: and yea they r 15's if u want ill set up a ruler.maybe one day ya mom might let u put a lil sumthin in the family van

thought you had a boss amp hooked up to em'? either way, if you're going with L7 15"s they have what 10 or 15% cone area more a piece than what you're dealing with so they won't fit, or i'd imagine they wouldn't. i hope you don't have your homie who does install at circuit city do this box as 6 L7 15"s makes it a bit more complex than those eclipse subs. You need about 4cuft per L7 so I hope you have 27cuft or more to work with after displacement of the subs. also what's your alternator like? sure hope you've got 200+ amps.

Buddy is right on with all his questions. I have 3 l7 15s with 6 cubic feet per sub, I also had to get a nice amp, they need power. I bought an Orion 2500d and alternator wise I had to go Ohio Generator 300 amp alternator. It gets very expensive and make sure your box is up to it also. I had mine made out of 3/4" MDF and the darn thing still blew apart after a few months, so I went with 1" MDF and I can't remember what kind of glue it was and 3" screws. Just plan ahead with everything else, don't just factor in amps and subs.
