Well this one didn't please me much...I missed my lows so I switched the old one back in there within 15 minutes. It was still a good days work and I'm proud cause this was the first box I designed and built totally alone...plus I used a skillsaw to make all my cuts so it wasn't a walk in the park getting it all straight. Not one air leak though. It does look a little rough on the outside but I was gonna carpet it....i dont think I will now since i wont be using it.

Comments and criticism are welcome.

Lemme know what you think. This is only the 2nd box I've built. And I'm only 16.

BTW, missing school and work just to build a box all day is definitely FTW.

not bad bro, if you have belt sander maybe work down the uneven edges, and throw some terminal cups in there or just use bolts. Carpet ftw though, nothing looks better than a finished box, to me that box looks great but unknowing people check it out they go that looks shitty.

good 2nd box

thanks....yea i thought about terminal cups but you get better current to the subs by just running them straight and siliconing up the hole after. Not sure what you mean by using bolts.

No way in hell that's 6 cubes, doesn't even look anywhere near 3 net per side either. But I have been known to be wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Looking good man, The only thing I would do along with the other suggestions is round the port edges. Inside the box and the front. Air flows smoother helps eliminate whistling. Great job thought! Now get your azz in school!

PS. If you don't have router use a file!

yeah, i get more like 2.66ft^3 per side, but i don't know the exact measurements on the port. also, is one port wider than the other?

pics of the old box?

i'm really glad i didn't decide to go with 2 type r's in 4ft^3 @ 40Hz! i think i'd miss the low, as well.
