7 failed alts, takes him 2-4 weeks to repair the alt. It's my only car so I would have to put my stock alt back on. shop charges 200 bucks to change alts on my car (car is a cougar and book time is about 9 hours to replace my alt...) So seeing as I'm supposed to have it done by a professional shop. 7 time to take the POS alt off and put stock back on. 7 times to take the stock alt back off and put the POS back on. 7 + 7 = 14. 14 times 200 dollars is 2,800 dollars in labor charges itself not including the price of the alt and lifetime warrany I bought with it.

don't wanna turn my boi's page into a rant of iraggi man but i wanna say this much, if ya can't take it off yourself the first time would have been the last time for me man. 200 bucks to remove it hell looks like to me you would have had it tested before putting the second or third one on. then again have ever thought about the installer error.
