Currently running Memphis Viv 6.5 mids in sealed and deaden doors on 180w at 2ohm

Would like to find a mid that is more efficient with that power and still be able to reach down to the 60-70hz crossover high-pass set point

I have 120w at 4ohm and 180w at 2. Both underrated numbers

Will be run active 63hz high-pass 24db slope and 3200hz low pass at 12db slope

I was considering more of a PA style mid like the sundown neos but don't have any experience with that style of mid.

Price point I'd like to stay under 500 for the pair.

Are you limited to just a set of 6.5's?

If his pods are fiberglass then he probably wants to re use them rather than have to make or worse pay for new ones
