6.5 REV coax

Hi

I'm upgrading the my system, i have alpine type-S coax in my front spk, and want better coax, i have read a lot of good things about rev's and want to know if they are better over the alpine, i have about $100 to expend on spk, i'll like to hear about other recomendation.

PD: I want louder speakers and at least the same SQ.

From what I have heard, the REVs are worth it. Should be better than the Type-S for sure.

i have the D601P's and i love them. very nice set of coax's if you ask me. and have plenty of punch aswell. the highs are very very clear, although, there slightly on the harsh side. you can fix it with a decent head unit though. but for the 80shipped i payed, im 100% satasfied with my purchase. so much so that i havent even considered comps... yet:naughty:

for the price id deffinetly get them. much better than the type s's IMO

the revs are a great coaxial. i think its one of the best out there. also, i really like the diamond audio D3's. they are a bit more natural sounding, a little smoother and less harsh, but the revs are louder and brighter. also, you might want to consider the zapco coaxials. i have used all three of the above, and had great luck with all of them

The revs are nice... also look at ppi... they are watered-down versions of the Polk SR speakers... but watered down versions of $900 speakers are not too shaby.
