I need some bass! any bass at all! ive searched on google and got frustrated with all the old threads and constant advice to put a sub in the trunk.. I cant and wont put a sub in

Im looking for a set of 4 inside speakers 6.5" that are VERY good on bass.. can u guys help me with some brands and model #s ....looking for something around 100w rms....I have an aftermarket Pioneer HU and that's all....my budget is $350 for speakers and amp

I drive a heavily modified mitsubishi lancer evolution IX and my trunk space is very limited....I have my battery relocated to the trunk, a strut brace that runs across the back of the car, and its my grocery getter/family activity car so putting even a 10" slim sub box is too big...plus I just don't want the added weight of a box in the trunk because the car is built for speed

ive also flirted with the idea of component set for the fronts and 2 6.5 or 8" subs in the rear deck running off of the same amp?..

right now as it sits the evos factory speakers are 15watts of pure garbage with no bass

so please help me out guys and absolutely no sub boxes please...thanks

lol^^^^....no boxes sir...trunk space limited to soccer balls, lil league crap, and field hockey stuff...soccer dad racecar!

if I go the way of subs they have to be in the rear deck and free air subs.....but I am leaning towards just 4 coax speakers amped

Hell..throw in a powered 6/8in Bazooka in there..light weight, and take up very little room, and you can throw whatever on top of them,as long as its not over 200lbs

it would have to be a very small box...under 5" deep...thats the amount of space I have behind the rear brace, and about 13" of height..but at that point doesn't the bass suffer...I wont put the box in front of the brace because I need every bit of space in the trunk...the wife already nags about the big battery box and brace....im basically looking for a luxury car premium sound system "sound"....I remember having a bose system in my Nissan maxima that sounded great amped..

bazooka tubes wont fit behind the brace...4 inside speakers are my best bet...basically my only option

Have some Bazooka 6.5's on deck. Installed em in the front doors but were too boomy for front stage. $65 shipped lnib paid $90 for them. For the price they have great bass for front door installs.
