6.5" reccomendations

ill have to look that up..check specs out on it/capabilities for additions/amps.What kind of space you have for an amp?
I have plenty of space for an amp...

and no space under my seats jose...

Pretty nice HU for the money, rca voltage is standard/2v,and adding a 2/4 ch amp isnt an issue with your hu.I have heard the Pioneer hu have an issue with a PICO fuse,so its my understanding with Pioneer..not sure of which other than the 80prs for certain

There is a set(4)6.5 Marine style Polk DB coax on Ebay for $129.00 shipped, and you could pick up a 4 ch JL JX 360,75x4rms amp for $150,or less BNIB Shipped and an 8/or 4ga amp kit for like $50 bucks off of Sonic Electronix shipped that should sound pretty decent for your $350 or under budget, and if you decide to add a single sub later, you can put the rear speakers on hu power, and run the ch.3,and4 mono on the amp to run the sub,no problem for an approx 400 rms 10/12.That should sound pretty clean, and loud enough for the money..just my 0.02cents

that sounds pretty good....which brands of amps should I stay away from...ive seen crunch and hifonics, etc amps for low prices

Both are Junk, unless you go OLD SCHOOL/90s versions in those brands.JL JX 360/4 gone up to like $169 shipped since I last looked, prices have gone up pretty recently, but still a nice amp for the money, and needs a 4ga kit,in which still can be had as well as all ive mentioned within the $350 budget.Keep in mind..go cheap ..expect cheap, and if you decide to sell that amp later on, you can move it fairly easy.

found it for 136 shipped!...could I benefit from a HU upgrade
Always, but at an extra expense. You can utilize your HU just fine..nothing wrong with it.If you ever want to beef up your voltage output, its easy to add a preamp eq,or external xover.Nice Price on the amp!!

im willing to throw some more money at an HU if the 4v is worth it
To me, its worth it,and especially to those that compete, very necessary for the SQ guys(4v or better) ,and for SPL guys.but that is up to you..its an all different level when you get into those categories,as everything becomes more expensive, and dedication to your system..but your hu is just fine
