6.5 Mids in my Si

I currently have 6.5 Alpine comps up front, using two channels of a 50x4 RMS Alpine amp. I've got a kicker L7 in the hatch. Next to my rear seats are 6.5 speakers of (as far as I know) unlimited depth. They're blown factory crap that rattles a lot. I have 50 RMS to work with on each channel, which I think should be enough to get some nice midbass. The sub is crossed over at low pass 70hz. I'd like to spend less than $100, not afraid to go used (I think I've seen some for $60) if the speakers are fine. Post up models you like or people's Classifieds on CA, I've never bought mids before! Thanks:crazy:

The scanspeak revelator 7's in this forum's want ads would be yummy. But more than $100 by quite a bit, so I dont really know why Im bringing them up.

Look at blaupunkt....i just put my 6.5s in over the weekend and they are crisp....they have a lot of highs coming out of them too, so it kinda helps in both bass and voice...

I probably will unhook the rears, since they sound AWFUL, but then things are a little thin. I'll check blaupunkt out again though I bought some cheap 6.5 2 ways for my blazer that sound like garbage.

This is an easy answer. ARC KS 6026. 50wrms and 100 bucks. Sounds like a steal if you ask me.
