After doing some soul-searching, looks like I'm building my system from the front back. I'm pretty much set on either a Premier P510UB or a Clarion CZ509 but I haven't decided which yet. So next up is the comps.

I've got a six speaker system in my Honda, so I'll be replacing the front area with a component set (hooray for tweeters already in there). My question now is what to pick up. I know little about which components are good brands or what lines to look at. All I remember is my old Kicker components were dang nice, if not the clearest at times.

Also, the 2nd question: would it be a smart idea to just disconnect the back door speakers when I finish the system up? I'm not planning on replacing them and I'd imagine it's power that could be better funnelled to the front components (if that can be done).

i got a set of pg rsd 65 cs for 65 shipped.

they're pretty much the best bang for your buck comps on the market.

Whew, that was fast. Well I'll consider it an outside chance but don't hold onto them for me. I'm waiting for some money to come in otherwise I'd say yes right now.

Not a bad purchase at $100 either. I bought 'em for a little more than that and they were used.

My friend is using the Cadence comps I just linked. For $89, you will not find a beefier set of speakers. They are sick speakers for the price.
