i was wondering, i have now a 2000 pontiac sh!tfire, and was wondering what kind 6 1/2"s and 6X9s would be better. MTX or infinatys, or kicker, pioneer, ect...

i wanted the 6X9s in 2way only, and the 6 1/2s in two way componet set.

i have about 200$ and thats what the 4 infinitys well run me,

Well, what specific lines are you looking at? Infinity Reference series are quite good for the price, and I would recommend them over the lower lines of MTX, RF, Pioneer, Sony. have a gander at some Crystal components, or Diamond. They do make some lower priced equipment that are great performers.

thanks, i wish some more ppl well help me out too.

my neighbor got the new yellow pinoer 6X9s 330watts with a memphise audio 60watt rms ab amp, and it sounds nice. the 6x9 cost him 130$ is this any good you think, or can i do better?

Infinity does make some quality speakers. Another speaker that I really like (never thought I would) are the JL Evolutions. Some friends of mine have them and they sound really good, however I cant really quote anything about price, but I think they are kinda expensive. You might want to check out some alpine speakers too, some of those dont exactly **** either...
