Sharp Affiliate Program has the 52" Aquos 120hz LC52D85U for $1099 shipped with an extended 3 year warranty. Of course that doesnt help unless your company gets an affiliate discount

I almost pulled the trigger, but decided to wait a little longer

if you are further than 7 ft away there is literally no difference between 720p and 1080p on a 50" screen. don't fall victim to all that marketing hype. even if you are closer than 7 ft, a quality 720 kills a mediocre 1080 all day long.
Tis very true //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i've got a situation where this isnt true.....

720 can just be a regular HD movie, or you're local HD cable...

1080P on a blueray disc is going to look MUCH better than you're 720P Cable or HD movie... my buddy has a 65" 1080 TV and I can tell the diff. in both scenarios

get the samsung ln52a550 or 650 if 120 refresh is needed, amazon has the 550 for 1200 dollars and free shipping I love my 46inch I just bought.
i actually went today and got the 46" 650 for a decent deal, little more then i wanted to pay though..
