500 watts on what sub?

alright i have a memphis 500D which puts out 500 watts at 2 ohms. i want a 10" or 12" driver that will do well in a relatively small ported box, around 1.5 cu ft. the main sub im looking at is the RE SE, but would 500 watts be enough to really get it going? what subs might 500 watts to better on?

edit: going for around 50/50

around 300, open to anything though, i dont know how expensive a 500 watt sub can get.

IA LIs will not like that 1.5 cu ft airspace. For daily id put an LI in around 2.5 cubes. the RE SE ought to do better in that smaller airspace, and 500w is plenty for that SE. If you could squeeze out 2 cubes thatd work a little better though.

The SEs wou;d sound good off 500 watts. you could alaways look into a jl W6v2 or something for like 300 from ebay but im not a jl fan(overpriced way to much)
