$50 SCORE!!! video

i got the box, two 12" subs, a Clarion 401.2 amp, and lots of 4ga. for $50! what a DEAL! the seller was an older guy and just had this stuff lying around in his basement which he was in the process of finishing. he also gave me some 4" mids for free too! what a cool dude. he just wanted to clear his basement out. He also had a brandnew Clarion headunit but it was really old so i didn't take it. He was willing to give me that for free too but I already have a HeadUnit. No sense in taking an old CD player.

It's more than I expected to get for $50!!! LOL.

I have a pioneer mono amp lying around which was way better than the dinky Clarion I got with the package so I hooked that up to the subs.

For some reason, if I turn it up louder (not to the point of clipping), it just cuts out. Not sure, I think it might be a weak ground. My plan is to get a Capacitor and a better amp to really push these subs. Right now, it's okay.

btw, this system is for the beater. it had NO bass whatsoever.

Should have took the older Clarion deck. The older decks were the shiznit!

Liked them better than the stuff the come out with now IMO.
